Traveling to Manhattan, New York. Travel time from Oneonta is approximately 4 hours.
Coffee/juice and donuts will be served for your enjoyment.
A rest area stop will be made for your comfort.
Approximate arrival time in Manhattan is 10:30-11:00 A.M., depending upon traffic.
Upon arrival in Manhattan, you will be taken to Battery Park where you will board the ferry to Liberty and Ellis islands. The ferry ticket includes an Audio Tour Headset once on the island, as well as Pedestal Access.
The Reserve with Pedestal Ticket provides access up to the Fort Wood section of the Statue of Liberty monument. This also allows you priority entry to the Screening Facility and saves you time at the departure point prior to boarding the ferry.
PLEASE NOTE: The ferry ticket DOES NOT include entrance into the Crown of the Statue of Liberty. This requires a Timed Ticket that you can arrange on your own if desired. We CANNOT purchase these as a group.
You are free to explore Liberty Island and the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and Battery Park as well as Lower Manhattan, until departure at 8:00 P.M.
Lunch will be on your own while on the islands. Both Liberty and Ellis island have a cafeteria location.
Reboard the motorcoach at 8:00 P.M. for departure home.
Depart for home at 8:00 P.M.
No rest stop will be made en route home.
