How do I go about booking a trip with you?

Is every retail trip guaranteed to go?
Unfortunately each trip depends on the number of passengers that have booked and the destination of the trip. Even though we would love to send every trip sometimes it's not economically feasible.
Do I have to pay the full amount or can I make a deposit when booking a trip?
When booking over the phone or in person the amount that is due depends on the trip and its departure date. Our online checkout through PayPal now features a Bill Me Later option as well.
Do I need a PayPal account to book online?
No you don't, when you checkout on the PayPal processing webpage use check out as a guest and fill out all the required payment information. (Name, Credit Card, Address, etc...)
How far ahead do you recommend I book my trip?
Every trip varies but I wouldn't hesitate to book a trip quickly as some fill up faster than others. Some trips require booking well before the trip goes due to certain itineraries. Contact us for details on trips you have in question.
What is your refund / cancellation policy for one-day trips?
In connection with most one-day tours, a full refund will be availible if cancellation is recieved at least three full business days prior to tour departure. Refunds for cancellation made within three full business days of departure will be made on condition that Eastern Travel is able to fill the space made available by the cancellation. On one-day tours where advance purchase of meals or tickets is necessary (Broadway Shows, Radio City, Sporting Events, Cruises, Luncheon or Dinner Shows, etc) it is necessary to give 14 full business days notice of cancellation. After this time refunds will only be available if Eastern Travel can fill the seats.
What if a trip is sold out?
If a trip is sold out, don't hesitate to call the office and we can add you to our wait list. We do have cancellations from time to time, so there is always a chance that something could open up!
What is your refund / cancellation policy on multi-day tours?
In connection with all overnight tours, if cancellations are recieved at least 30 days prior to departure of the tour we will refund your monies. 7 to 29 days prior to departure a $20.00 cancellation fee will be charged along with any non-recoverable tour costs. 1 to 6 days prior no refund will be available unless Eastern Travel is able to fill your seat. If you want assurance of a full refund for any tour excursion, be sure to take advantage of Trip Cancellation Insurance. The is information is included with your tour confirmation receipt on all multi-day tours. For all other tours such a one-day trips or gaming overnights, please contact our office and we will mail information to you. Subject to policy provisions!
How are refunds issued?
Refunds are issued as follow: 1) If payment has been made by credit card, monies will be refunded to that card on the same business day, 2) If payment was made by check, monies will be issued by company check. Checks are issued every two weeks. pending last refund issue, checks should be received no later then 2-3 weeks of trip cancellation.
